Ok, I was satisfied with the way everything was going together so I took it all apart to do some final welding and paint. The orange paint with the vinyl for the seat and the orange grips... all matching really well! sanding the frame down for a clearcoat. the theme colors are raw metal...

Re: Tempe Showdown (AZ Chop Shop vs. Wacko's Garage) CRUNCH TIME The cool thing about this build challenge is we are building completely different bikes! It's anybodys guess what people are going to like.

OK, made my louver dies last night and got to work early this morning punching them out. a little detail fabrication today to finish up then it's time for teardown and paint/detailing.

trying to figure out which louver pattern I like better for the rack... the braces are welded on the bottom so I just have to figure out how i'll attatch it to the rack supports.

Last update until sunday when it's back to work in the shop. Sheet metal work is almost done... just need to punch some louvers!

It's a stock axle believe it or not... Just 26" wheels and it's really long!

Off the Jig! still missing the other rear rim... frustrating!

Lots of progress today. Trailer/Hand truck. Jackshaft dropouts put in place. cutting out the disc caliper mounts Dual disc brakes in place. Single speed mountain bike trick... allows for a really big final drive.

Finally! photobucket is up and running! Jockey Shift in a very traditional spot. Jack shaft dropouts. Rear end being reinforced for the trailer hitch. Trailer Hitch Trailer being mocked up. More progress the next two days with time off.
