I sanded it real light and then went over it with some 000 steel wool. It smoothed out and then I sprayed it again. Came out perfect. Krylon says very fast drying on their can. They aren't kidding. I have never seen paint you can sand after a couple hours. I'm impressed.

Not sure what happened but the paint on the top bar looks like it had sand on it. I wiped it down first so maybe this paint reacted with the primer. The rest looks good. Will sand that one tube and respray it in a day or so when its really dry.

Primed and ready to go. Well still have to paint.

Well to try and stop my mental problems, I tore it apart. Welded up the parts I couldn't get to. I noticed my welding skills fall off when I try to weld on my knees through the chains to the back of the jackshaft holders. They are strong, but look ugly. Oh well . Still have to sand/grind...

I was going to paint it black, because the motor was all black but after listening to my wife, I think the same dark red as the wheels. Maybe some black stripes on the frame as accents.

Deorman you can buy about the same thing I built a lot cheaper. Called a Baja Warrior. I see them used for $300 around here.

Got my seat cover today. The guy that builds my wife's purses made it for me. He did pretty good since he does crocodile purses and not upholstery. I put it on the foam and it still needs a little more adjusting. Still not bad. Love the smell of new leather.

Thanks you have been watching for a lot of years. LOL They had these 4 army guys on tv once. They took a jeep apart, walked 10 feet and put it back together. I think they did it in 30 minutes or so. It was quick however long it was. Fun to watch.
