I got my replacement fenders all straightened out, but still need to paint and mount them. I have some wiring to do in order to get my lights working, and then it should be ready.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I haven't been happy with the fender setup, so I have some peaked Columbia repops on the way. At least they may play nice with the springer. Also. More paint on the way for touch-ups.

Okay! Cranks have been more or less successfully swapped to OPC. Crank and bottom bracket are new, but sprocket and pedals were pulled from the stash.

New single piece 6-1/2" crank arrived today, so it'll be a rider this weekend, I'm thinking. Hoping everybody likes my new front sprocket and pedal choices, but I like 'em, and that's what's really important, right? RIGHT?!! (Please affirm my questionable life choices.)

Now that I've added that 1" coil on top, it's nearly rigid, anyway. I set my gut over the bars, hiked my Chuck Taylors up off the ground, and did fat man planks. It didn't even come close to bottoming out, though I had to catch my breath for a moment, after all of that exertion.

I'll get you one once there's a set of cranks that don't rub mounted. Trail is about 1-1/2" positive when I laid a straight edge along the centerline of the headtube to the ground.

That's kind of what I was thinking. If I can't find cones and cups, I'm out of luck. @Captain Awesome , I'll send to you for cost of shipping. BTW: double-checked, and they use 1/2" pedals, but there's plenty of meat there if somebody wanted to drill/tap for 9/16".

Were the alloy dropouts too thick to fit in the channels in the tensioners?
