    Horn Swoop Me Bungo Pony

For the past several builds, I’ve been naming my bikes after lyrics of songs that were recorded the same year as the bike was built. So, this one is taken from Blue Oyster Cult’s “The Red and the Black,” which is probably my favorite song by them. Ironically, however, the first time I heard it...

CLASS 1 VOTE HERE!!!! - CLASS 1 FINISHED BIKE PHOTOS BELOW POLL

That was NOT easy. Somehow I stayed with 5 votes so as not to "water things down." I wanted to vote for about 15. There are a lot of really fine builds in both classes.

    I Can't Afford the Gas

Thanks for the input O.J. I think I agree with you on the photo. That photo was one of my top three choices. I got tired of thinking about it, so I just threw the drive-in shot on there. I think I will take your advice and do the switcheroo.

    BO15 I Can't Afford the Gas

Thanks OJ. I was hoping to incorporate more "ride video" rather than "slide show," but when I looked at my video footage it was all vertical, so it didn't look good in the video. So I kind of like my video from BO13 better, but I was happy with how this one turned out.

    BO15 I Can't Afford the Gas

I changed the rear chain ring to make pedaling a little easier and added some motor oil for disc lube to see if I could get her to ride a little smoother. My son and two of his friends were over so I employed them as test pilots. They were having contests to see who could get the speedometer...

    BO15 I Can't Afford the Gas

I found it, where else!? eBay! I believe it’s die cast, like a Hot Wheel. So I’m going to try and strip it down for a more “galvanized” look. That’s the plan. Andy, I did think of chrome too, and KF, I also thought about leaving it. Ultimately, after staring at it for a while, it told me to...

    BO15 El Cholo bike

Nice work Wandita. Good choice on the gold rims. I think they look really good with the tan seat and grips. Clean, solid build. That frame is good-lookin’ too. Good lines, nice flow. Oh, and P.S. great patina on that original paint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
