Thanks! It’s the stock tube and tire that’s been on the bike for about 15 years!

Ok, I went to pump this thing up a few weeks ago and this happened! Is this a breakdown in the tire rubber or a tube issue? Both are stock and have never been touched Tire holds air fine.

Took the wax off with my headlight repair kit: I’m not sure it’s a whole lot glossier, but at least it’s sealed and has a protective coating on it.

Thanks! You should have seen me globbing on that old paint with an oversized brush! I’m amazed at how the rustoleum evens itself out as it dries. there’s still runs, clumps of old paint, brush marks, some old grass and dirt mixed in, but it looks better than it did! lol I was thinking I...

Meh…. Sidecovers done. I was going to fill these holes to try to make the entire cover less noticeable…. I just put the original emblems back on. Looks pretty sharp actually. -brush marks and all!

Thanks! -Get ‘er done. the number one impediment to progress is perfection. I delayed YEARS on this thing waiting for the perfect time, perfect weather, perfect paint, perfect whatever! I’m just getting it decent for a cool bike to bang around town on. let’s go! :cool2:

Side covers painted. I actually cut them a few inches too to make them a little less noticeable. There’s a bunch of junk in the paint….. but, recurring theme here, better than sitting on a shelf!

So… this is pretty crazy this is a rattle can finish….
