Hi all! Crazy question! Baby Jude #1 was just deployed to Okinawa for 3 months.
She’s talking about getting a bike…. There wouldn’t happen to be in RRB connections in Okinawa that could loan her a bike for a few months would there be? (She’s short!)
I think she’s just looking for...
We start in late April: here’s a sample calendar from this year:
We usually do a meeting in March…. Pizza chips n soda and maybe a beer or two, to discuss and set the schedule.
Thanks! Nope! - we have like one ride left.
And that is pending weather.
We do a mid winter party, but no ride. Too much snow up here.
I have proposed a polar bear ride, but no one wants to do that!
And uh…. BOOM!!!
I had misplaced my tank emblems…. I’d been looking for them on and off for about 3 weeks.
I found them stuffed between my file folder for the bike and my large envelope I keep my bicycle decals in.
the left side emblem is a little trashed….. BUT…. Better than sitting...
So…. Winter is closing in fast…. A lot of cold rain here in upstate.
I’m not sure how much work I’m going to get done on the frame, engine and assembly with no indoor space.
The plan now is to get all parts straight and ready for assembly early in the spring.
Here’s the custom 2-up seat I...
Ok, I went to pump this thing up a few weeks ago and this happened!
Is this a breakdown in the tire rubber or a tube issue?
Both are stock and have never been touched
Tire holds air fine.
Thanks! You should have seen me globbing on that old paint with an oversized brush!
I’m amazed at how the rustoleum evens itself out as it dries.
there’s still runs, clumps of old paint, brush marks, some old grass and dirt mixed in, but it looks better than it did! lol
I was thinking I...
Meh…. Sidecovers done.
I was going to fill these holes to try to make the entire cover less noticeable….
I just put the original emblems back on.
Looks pretty sharp actually. -brush marks and all!
Thanks! -Get ‘er done.
the number one impediment to progress is perfection.
I delayed YEARS on this thing waiting for the perfect time, perfect weather, perfect paint, perfect whatever!
I’m just getting it decent for a cool bike to bang around town on.
let’s go! :cool2:
Side covers painted. I actually cut them a few inches too to make them a little less noticeable.
There’s a bunch of junk in the paint….. but, recurring theme here, better than sitting on a shelf!
