Here’s a saddle I just fixed up myself..not sure of the brand...I think it’s a ladies tho...fairly heavy rusting...used krud kutter to remove the rust and was pleased with the results..I like the texture of the pitted metal...

I tried Krud Kutter on this old saddle I just got...the rust was quite severe...I was pleased with the results..the metal is quite pitted but should look good when I’m done...I tried it on a few small lightly rusted parts I had around and they came out perfect

so...had enough fender left over from my custom 41 Schwinn build to use as a rear fender for my custom ruff electric bike...as usual I made things more complicated than needed to..could have just slapped on the raw metal fender on and ride away...but I had some scrap copper pipe that I thought I...

yes...I trimmed the long nuts by a quarter inch..lots of clearance now....got the fender on the bike... took the bike for a ride with no issues...I did some custom work to the fender...I will post pics of it later in the build forum I think..

So... gonna try it with these U bolts first

Put the bars from my 41 Schwinn DX on my ruff build...feel pretty good..a little wider than the U bars

It’s a a Ruff cycle frame..called the Lucky frame...now discontinued unfortunately...thx for the ideas guys...I think I know now what I’m gonna do..if it works out the way I want it should be cool...

I was bored...so decided to play with the front fender..looks ok I think...Cut a few inches off the bottom and front of fender and cut out a design..may put some chrome mesh screen on the inside

pretty much done this bike for now...put a lot of time into this one...I like how it turned out...rides smooth too

Super cool build!,...I love trikes...I always wanted to do a custom build of one but I don’t have your skills...the custom frame manufacturers like Ruff cycles won’t do trike frames cause they say there’s no demand for them...I’d love a trike something like this one..

80’s Worksman trike

Finally got this trike done! Got the new positron gear cable in the mail today...installed it..the old CC2 hub works great...hopefully get a fair price for it..
