What have you been riding lately?

1939 Elgin of some merit. I think it's a Three Star but I may be mistaken. Picked up last night, overhauled until 2am. Rode today. It was missing some odds and ends. I had the seat lying about the last decade so I threw that on. Grips are borrowed off another rider. This bike is super solid...

I've always had a soft spot for the ladies.. (cant imagine why 😄), especially dressed in original tones. She's not worth a lot but she's a Survivor. A springer fork off a donor women's in worse shape would finish this for the right lady.. -R.

    Handlebar slipping

I second this. Beer and soda aluminum is a lot less caustic to the materials over time and itself breaks down first, but the space filler makes that a decades long venture for pennies. -R.

Just a heads up, I've been avidly working at reopening ZVB on Facebook with my return to these spaces. Should anyone want yet ANOTHER pre 1970 bicycle group to belong to, we did pretty good in member input a few years back before I had to close it up due to mental health. I'd love to see the...

    A weekend of Good Luck

Thanks. It's been my first pick up in a few years. If you search my name here, my posts go back as far as 2012. I had a pretty long and expectedly permanent Hiatus but.. how can I leave such dolls out in the cold? Thanks again! -R.

Aww, my guy! They are super scarce but they are up there. I know it's a lot of non American up there but they do squeeze some in. I wish more folks shipped that way. -R

Scored these both as they sit. Nice folks out in the middle of Wisco. 1950 Lux in Back (a good repaint over very tired black) missing tank, light and light/battery tray for rack. 1951 Hawthorne in front (OG paint!) Missing original light, I think? Rear reflector and correct grips. Cleveland...
