    Not quite ratrod or bmx.

Acquiring a fleet of F1s eh. I wasn't aware how many manufacturers were involved. F1s arrived when I graduated from bmx to drag racing. The cars are all gone, the bike are back... life's like that. I'll return to cars when I get old, although seeing Teslas destroying the old petrols makes me...

    Loopy

Badge looks official, from my rear view that is. You guys without gears are in trouble against the little red one. Build's making me hungry🍕

    Inspiration for your MBBO/ORBO Build

Thank you. I learned about it from a Guinness World Records book in the 70's. My dad explained how it worked. I was hooked thereafter fitting the largest sprockets possible.

    Inspiration for your MBBO/ORBO Build

Not aware of that one. Have to look for it. Altered my life. Allan Abbott also designed the controversial Signorina.

Lacing a 32 hole hub to a 36 hole rim

You've got plenty width to work with. I drilled a complete set of new holes with less offset to space the holes further apart for a 28 to 36 hole job. I marked 28 spoke holes on a slip of transparent plastic to slide around the inside of the rim to locate an ideal position for drilling.

    The Red Rocker

113mm is quite narrow. I've used spindles that short for multi speeds. The last single speed I mounted a Super Maxy was 118mm. Can't member the hub used. What method are you using to calculate chainline?

    What are you listening to?

Whadda performance. Interesting fact, the woman in the video's not the singer. R.I.P Meat Loaf

Dang, mine are 26 by 17 rise''. I have to wheelie turned to get through traffic @32'' wide in the city. Still bump a few mirrors along the way:blush: Then there's the challenge of getting the bikes out of my studio down two flights of narrow staircase. It's a procedure with my drag fork bike:whew:

    OCC Stingray CHOPPER build 😎

Ok, I read your edit, you know the correct lower sizing to ask for. Are you also sure the 1-1/8'' cup adapter is 1'' EC30? Should be listed with the model, double check that as well.

    OCC Stingray CHOPPER build 😎

Just found the specs of a Cane Creek 40. It's for forks with a 26.4mm seat. Your fork is made for 27mm JIS crown races. It won't press on, stop.

    New Schtandart for my brother

Nice lines. Fine details. I like the struts. What do think the weight is in kilos?

    OCC Stingray CHOPPER build 😎

Flush just like the video. Once pressed on, the spacers must stack above the head tube. The only way for spacers under is to place the crown race over the spacers which requires some form of shim between the race and steering tube where the diameter is narrower further up. I don't think such a...

    "New to Wheel building" Question

Not for people who have numerophobia. https://www.sheldonbrown.com/mismatch/index.htm For fun I used 3D blender modeling program to calculate spoke lengths for dozens of solutions. Another unique build. https://drewdevereux.wordpress.com/2014/05/30/36-hole-rim-laced-to-28-hole-hub/ Can drill...

    Rust Never Sleeps

Kidding aside, I'm with you taking on a swing in such rough condition. Always wanted to make a race version while retaining the kids' bike look. I know it's going to turn out amazing like all your other rides. Have fun with it brother.

    Rust Never Sleeps

Lil wheels run just fine on decent pavement. Carl just needs the right setup and gears. Riders heart rates elevate more when I'm on. Completed 20 miles in an hour. If anyone on RRB wants a go against The Smoke in real life for lunch, PM me. I take the Chuck Norris.

    1979 Schwinn Spitfire

The Spitfire should have ACS hubs. I wanted an authentic hub for my Schwinn Qualifier. I disliked those foam grips because they tore very easily. Yes, the blue hoops must remain. Display tires? ride that sucka' till the cords break!
