I have a generic bike stand, ebay type, works well. For derailleurs I tie 2 rope loops and hang it from hooks on an overhead shelf. Quick set up and I can access all sides.

Plug the seat post. Turn the frame upside down and fill the seat tube with either citric acid mix, or atf / acetone thru the hole in the bottom bracket. That amount if crust may be worth acid treatment, then penetrating oil.
