    Wild handlebars

Pretty cool, did they ever get mounted?

    Riding dirt roads in FL?

Yea. We have a periodic helicopter that flies over. I like to ride the dirt roads, and the levee roads. Sometimes there is shade, but I ride mostly at night and on those rides it doesn’t really matter. I can probably count on one hand the other riders I have seen.

    Cockpit shots only

Fun My darn phone won’t let me see my pics. Maybe later. This will motivate me to get some bars and grips on my chromey.

    Riding dirt roads in FL?

Nice. You found a shady place on dry land. That’s tough around here.

    Hello from Michigan

Sounds neat, but I’m having trouble visualizing Pics! Welcome aboard

    Revenant

Yea. The paint is really nice. Even zoomed in. It just shows what can be done when care is taken with multiple steps and layers. I always knew that was important with woodwork and transparent finishes, but obviously true with opaque finishes as well.

    That's Intense

Cool stuff! This thread had my complete focus between two meetings, and now back to work. But I may be thinking about what something like this would like over chrome.

    Shiny Sierra 82-17

Sorry Everything has been crazy and I’m stuck in place. I have ridden it a few times and it’s a wonderful ride. grips are needed. Bars too, or some paint. TIME. I need more TIME. Lol.

    The Great (Haro) Escape

I’m in the same situation. every time I have an opportunity to do some bike stuf, it either rains, or something comes up.

I love the look of these!

    Shiny Sierra 82-17

I think I’ll be able to get into town today or tomorrow and see what kind of bars are available. If nothing, then it’s time to either paint those, and put some nice grips on them, or order some new chrome bars.

Got sidetracked by a king sting

Your “distraction” puts my builds to shame. nice bike!

    Matti Scores!!

Yea. as long as it doesn’t mark what you put it on and the hinges and lens are clean and functional I would leave it. I often use “desirable patina”, and “original condition” as synonyms for “ I have other stuff to do” though.

    Guitar Players: Show us yours!

Nice. that’s good honest wear. I don’t really understand the idea of buying one that’s brand new and looks worn, but do appreciate the look and feel of a well used instrument, tool, or bike.

    Ice Hockey World Championship 2022

Well. I have missed out on a lot of the international games, but have been watching the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Lightning seem to have their game back after a couple of les than spectacular efforts against the Rangers. the series against the Avalanche should be a good one. If @Karate...

    Ice Hockey World Championship 2022

I hope someone from the east can sweep the Avalanche. it’s not realistic, but this old red wings fan will cheer for either opponent. I saw part of the US vs Finland girls game last night. they were very good!

    Shiny Sierra 82-17

this chrome cruiser is an amazing ride. It’s comfortable, stable, and responsive a really sweet feel. with the low gearing and fat tires I can ride it around the yard and manual up the stairs around the pool. As long as I don’t get seen. I’ve been looking at bars for it. Maybe some chrome...

    Ice Hockey World Championship 2022

Sorry Matti, I may be a Red Wings fan living in Florida, but I would like to see Edmonton take the cup.

    3 piece crank disassembly

Lots can be done with normal tools. the crank puller is an absolute necessity though and they are inexpensive. the pipe and and penetrating lubricants are also required equipment unless you are The Hulk.
