Thanks Done I really should have switched frames and entered Swamp Flower. It started about the same time, but parts were on hand or easier to find so it got finished first. She is a joy to ride, when I’m just cruising. Fixed pain is for pure juvenile, immature, irresponsible, play.

Well, I had to take off on a little road trip before I really had it where I wanted it. I did have time to take it out a few times before I hit the road. It is a blast to ride and will only improve over time. unlike myself.

I’m still on the road. won’t be home until the BO is over, so I’m going to have to call her done for now. when I get home a new crankset and chain will go on, and then I’m going to ride it anytime I’m feeling to squirrelly to ride the swamp flower or my Haro.

Most were “self” bows from Osage orange. I did cut some of my Osage into boards and laminated them with bamboo or ash. The canoes were mostly white cedar. With hardwood gunnels and decks. the bows were a hobby I did the boat work as part of working my way through college.
