First time in months I've checked out RRB, and this is the first thing I see.......made my day. I certainly do remember the ride and the old lady!

Well done to everyone! I'm blown away to have finished in the Top 10 with this bike. Hopefully I will have my shed built for next year and be able to build a new bike, instead of a redux.

Been super busy with work, playing gigs and working on houses. I have a couple of days off, so will finally be able to have a decent look at the build threads........Yes, I voted pretty much just on the fished bike pics :eek:. Thanks to all who like SPINAL TAP. I really didn't to too much this...

Yeah hewey, I built the frame for RRBBO8, which was the first year of the Anything Goes section. I hardly rode it after then, and had the bare frame hanging from the rafters for a couple years, so decided on a redux. I actually dig it much more this time around.

Thanks guys. Due to storage problems at my new house, I was going to sell this at an upcoming swap meet, but the more I ride it :happy:..................looks like I'm gonna have to build a bigger shed :eek:

Went for another ride after work today........I'd forgotten just how nice the Sachs Duomatic hub is :happy:

Done. I didn't get time to do a couple things, so had to either leave them or use parts from other bikes. I'm happy with how it turned out, and actually like this version better than the original build. It rides really well, and I had no problems during a 2 mile ride. The photo shoot was rushed...

Thanks Luke. I won't get time to do a couple of things before the deadline, so will just have to make do. It makes things hard being 50km away from the bike and workshop.......I'm doing it before and after work and during lunch breaks.

Just a pic using my phone. i was too slack to remove the bottom bracket and adapter, so just masked them up. let it cure for a day and so and start putting it back together.

Spray bombed it today.........will just get finished by deadline :). I can't load pics at work, but will post one tonight.

Definitely still in Luke, just time poor at the moment (as usual) :(.

Just have to paint it and put back together. Only 3 or 4 hours work, but will probably take me 3 weeks.
