Started our vacation in Ocean City, MD today. This place is right across the main drag from where we are staying. I am hoping to get some sunrise pics on the boardwalk and sunset pics on the bay, but I couldn’t resist ripping a couple off right away…

Based on my experience with this build, I now want to do wood panels in the shape of a slimline tank for both of these cruisers. Since the word Schwinn is right there on the top tube, I'd have to figure out a good design to put on there. I think more lettering would make it look too busy.

Terrific looking build. I have a soft spot for vintage road bikes in blue. Besides that one, I also happen to have my old Motobecane Jubilee Sport in about the same color that yours was originally.

Right, shmight. I am all about creative badging if it looks cool; bonus points if it happens to be the correct manufacturer.

This bike, wow. The colors, the fade, the stance, the creative use of stem/fork parts... it's all amazing. Came out fantastic. And then the ORB... That's another whole order of magnitude of wow factor.

This is about as close to done as it's gonna get. All that's left is the "good" photo shoot.
