    Muscle Bike Auctions Being Hacked

I saw this! I noticed something weird the other day, and auction I was sure I has seen before with a new seller and cheap price. There looks to be many different user names too.

    Memory Lane Swap Meet Finds...

Best of those finds was the violet Troxel banana seat. NOS and has a Troxel paper tag on the bottom. She's a keeper.

    Memory Lane Swap Meet Finds...

Was at the Memory Lane swap this past weekend. Had a blast! Saw old bike friends and found a few trinkets. If you guys have wanted to make a bigger swap, make plans for the Memory Lane and Ann Arbor Weekend next April. You won't regret it!

    Hawthorn formula v?

Also, if you meant the seat has a 4 inch rise that would be the correct seat. It should be black, rubber cover, made by Mesinger.

    Hawthorn formula v?

I think that is a Hawthorne Mustang. The Formula V used a different shifter in that year. The Mustang was a green 3-Speed, tall sissy bar, with that shifter. If you Google it there will be a picture of one, I have one of the ones in the pics

    Chrome 20" rim and slick

I guess that was three things haha!

    Chrome 20" rim and slick

Two things for you on this: 1. For a Schwinn Fair Lady, the frame may not accept a larger rim and tire. A 2.125 rear tire may not fit in the frame, or under the fender. I would stick with the stock size to be safe. 2. Although the stock size would be best, you *may* be able to get away with...

    1967 Schwinn Fastback

Yes, ODDER is correct, that seat is a Troxel. It is a "high back" Troxel banana seat. They were used on a lot of Murray built muscle bikes in the late 1960's. The high back style, but in different colors or flower designs, were used on many other muscle bikes too, Huffy, Columbia, etc. It is...

    (MBBO#05 Class 1) Rat-ed X-65 Murray Wildcat

Don't get discouraged! The tire sizes between Schwinn and the rest of the manufacturers aren't the same. 20 x 1 3/4 for Schwinn is not the same as 20 x 1.75 for Murray bikes. I know the decimals should be the same, but they aren't :D Someone will be able to explain the difference, I don't know...

    Sears slingshot

Yes, that means more value. The Sears Gremlins are usually the short framed version of the Huffy twin top bar frame. I don't know the exact year offhand on your bike, but it is a 1971-72. The frame will have an H or C and then a number for the year. I know yours is a 1971 or 1972 from the BMA-6...

    Sears slingshot

One more thing...it is a somewhat rare one, as you don't see many long frame Slingshots branded Sears.

    Sears slingshot

Congrats Nick! Looks like a nice project there! The Sears branded Huffy bikes are cool, those insert seats from Persons are awesome.

A Stingray, Buzz Bike, and a Mattel Stallion walk into a bar...

LOVE that Buzz Bike! That is an AMF built bike, sold through Western Auto. They bought from Huffy, Murray, and AMF for thier bikes. The seat and sissy bar are so cool on that one! Very nice bike and awesome story too. Welcome to the forum! This is the best place for bike discussion, tons of...

Look what the cat dragged in! Hey man! Congrats on the bikes, can't beat those for the price. Maybe a late entry into the MBBO with one?

    1969 Huffy Rail duel stick

Great find there! I can't beleive that was in a junkyard! That is one of those holy grail Huffy bikes. That Twin Stick shifter is one of the toughest ones to find! I'm sure you've had some offers on just the shifter already! Nice score, congrats!
