    Help with a Murray Chopper

Hey there, great bike! I restored one of these choppers and didn't know that they had that set up either. The bearings are pressed in the frame and can be knocked out and then replaced. I added a little grease to get them to slide in the headset easier. I put the original bearings back in, they...

Fairborn OH swap meet - Anyone going?

I believe most hobbiests are in Copake this weekend, and then are traveling to Memory Lane and Ann Arbor next weekend. I would try Memory Lane next weekend, lots of muscle bikes show up there.

    "FRESH" muscle bikes

I would agree, maybe $125-250 on them, with the Cheater Slick being worth the most. Someone might step up at $250-300 on it, never know.

Huffy the Wheel III in the works..

Those are awesome! Did you try molding them with the taper in the middle like the originals? That would be cool too. I've always wondered if I could just cut the bottom off a huge funnel to make a column, would be way cheaper for me.

    Repop tall sissy bars?

Railrider knows exactly who it is, he made repop bars for him that he used to sell on eBay, you might want to ask him.

Looking good! Do you sand or polish the steering wheel at all? I have a couple used blue ones and wondered what people do to polish them.

    Junkyard Dog

That's gonna clean up nicely. I think there is a shifter for that on eBay. The bottom looked cut off but it was usable if you need one for it.

    Upholstery

I have not covered one, but have heard they are a little more difficult to recover, but can be done. My friend can cover them, he recovers banana seats as a part of his hobby for the bikes. He is joe4407 on eBay, he lists seats for sale there now and again. I can ask him if he has done one...
