    Oxford Muscle Bike

I'm not 100% familiar with it, but can tell you any muscle bike with a 3 piece crank if foreign made. Oxford was also a brand of Hong Kong made accessories back in the 60's and 70's, so I would guess this bike might be a Made in Hong Kong product? But that is just a guess, it could be made in...

    Huffy mag chain size?

They did, but I believe a coaster brake sprocket would have less teeth. At least Schwinn Sting-Ray bikes are that way. The 5-Speed sprocket is 52 tooth, the coasters are less. A coaster chain is 1/8 and a 5-Speed 3/32 like you have. If the coaster chain fits through the derailleur you can...

    Huffy mag chain size?

I have used the same chain and had good results. I have also used a number or Made in Taiwan chains and they have been ok. I think it might be that the sprocket is slightly bent? If it is intermittent than one area might be slightly tweaked?

That shifter still has some value though, I bet you could sell that for some funds if you wanted. That bike is a Qualifier I believe, that is the Sportcrest name for the bikes...

Picked up a Sears Screamer today...

Oh, one last last thing...if the head badge is a nice Murray Eliminator badge, that could bring some nice money too if you sold it, and help fund your project.

Picked up a Sears Screamer today...

Yup, that funky little shifter is a big ticket item as Jaxon said. That is the Murray Dyna Shift shifter. Used on the F Series Murray Eliminator. The covers are always missing from those. Having the cover is a big deal! Bruce Crawford (the decal guy everyone uses haha, he gets mentioned a lot!)...

Picked up a Sears Screamer today...

Looks like a nice project Moo! It has a lot of the hard to find parts as Jaxon said, so finding the rest of the parts may be easy and cheap! I have had a few of those shifters apart and have had luck restoring them. I can help get you decals made if you want to go that route, I have a...

He just did it one off for me, he sells only on eBay otherwise. He has a 9-5 and doesn't have time to do a lot of them so he just sells on eBay.
