Ok one step forward filling in the missing paint and making the bikes paint match yesterday . Today taking that shine off of the bike and bringing the bike back to a natural 1939- 40 Bike condition. And also fixing and matching the off white paint . That’s being sorted/ sanded to match patina...

I lucked out I had a orphan front fender for a fender upgrade.This was before I repainted the red paint.

I decided to try to match the frame and guard paint color to the rest of the bike. This bike had at least 3 colors of red /maroon going on. Ok I managed to get the house paint off of the frame and tank. I did a quick paint prep on the rest of the bike. I did find a small epoxy area on a small frame tube . I lucked out. I removed it and for once it wasn’t necessary.
