Cut rubber from TredWear. I'm really hoping the curve fits the tire. It'll make mounting them so much easier!

I lay them out freehand. They asked me again the tire size for the pre-curve applicator. The last time I did it for a 24" bike tire, it didn't fit. This will be my first 20", so we'll see how it goes.

On the tire? Those are stick on letters. I didn't do this set, I bought them already done from a guy who does them. But I've done them before and have some on their way from TredWear.com

It's honestly easier to cut off the speaker clips and epoxy new ones back on. I cut the old ones off already. Had to order new ones because I didn't have enough.

The flaming stack was looking worn, so had it re-chromed. So of course it needed new title text.

Sanded a lot. Shot some thin coats of the satin. It’s not great, but it’ll get by. I didn’t want to get too close of a picture, so here they are baking in the sun.

And I dropped the shifter internals at the chromer.

Unfortunately I don’t think I’m going to make deadline. I’ve lost too much time to the heat. I finally bought a swamp cooler, so we’ll see how that works in this 100+ degree heat. It’s supposed to be 113 next Saturday. Anyway…. Had to cut off and fabricate and weld on a new rear fender...

With so much paint on there, the primer just needs to cover and seal. That’s why I’m hoping the 2in1 will do the trick

I am. And it did it again. I don’t have a way to paint automotive paint at home, and I can’t pay an auto body shop for this. I already paid double for the front wheel. So I thinking of switching to this. It’s not gloss, but maybe that will help with the primer in it, and thinner coats.

I’ve had to focus on my other project so i don’t have much of an update. But this accessory came in, which will be cool once I figure out the mounting.

Hub is back in the rear wheel. The mag cover nightmare continues. Finally finished the silver. But the tape over the black caused texture on the black. So I covered the silver with paper, sanded the black and reshot it. That revealed more texture issues. So need to let it cure, Reagan’s...
