Yes indeed, CWC and Snyder made these, but both used the CWC spring fork.

recent arrival: 1939/1940 Snyder-built Hawthorne standard twin bar. Picture of the Wards catalog page shown below. Not going to restore this one tho :cool2: I think a friend can get the lock working, and it looks like the paint might be savable...let's hope!

Def looks Snyder to me, 1939 I'd guess, 1940 had a curved down tube.

Can we see a picture of the area where the seat tube goes into the bottom bracket shell please?

Nice finds! The Air-Cooled Musselman will have a date code stamped into it. The Cadillac is a pre-WWII Schwinn bike, so S-2 rims wouldn't be a match. The 4265 looks like a registration # and not a serial # to me. ...and the frame on the saddle is downside-up ;)
