Just a quick question, how are these frames made? At some spots its filled with brass (i think) but some parts are just not welded at all

Started the teardown today. Everything went smooth until i broke of one of the end of the truss rods No big problem, can fix that later Here you can see the original color Did a quick polish with some wd and steel wool The rims are pretty crusty but i think i can still use them, will look at it...
