My first ever fauxtina attempt Got some spraycans, even a fake rust spraycan. First up, a layer of fake rust. It even has texture to it🤷‍♂️ Some blue Some black Some sanding with wet 400 grit amd rusty water with sand in it And at last add some scallops and more rust A little more sanding...

Great work so far, i like the fauxtina on the hubs and spokes. For the crank, have you tried stretching the metal? You put a big hammer underneath one side of the crank and you hit the top with a smaller hammer. And then repeat the proces from all sides a few times. Best to use a copper hammer...

Small update on the Ratrod Didn't like the skinny front tire, so i upgraded to a beefier one 2.5 wide moped tire Looks a lot better!

At least you got a good story out of it

I think it would be wise to make the spoke holes just a bit bigger so when it's coated you can still fit the spokes in easily
