RRBBO13 RATLINER ( tail lights, more sprockets, titanium and she is done)

It's way brighter at night sorry for the bad pics. Anyway like I said I suck at electronics so a quick trip to eco thrift turned up these 2 dollar bicycle lights. Pop the lense off use a bit of 3m body tape to attach to the back side of the lenses and Bob's your uncle. I also removed the lower...

Oh and I ditched the mudflap as it covered too much of the sprocket Sent from my SM-J727P using Tapatalk

After putting the sliders on I decided she needed a tail light. However this part also serves as a brace to help tie in the two extremely long lower chain stays. It works perfectly and yes the tail light works and has been converted to led although not in a super exotic way Sent from my...

Although sorta hard to see you will notice there is now a strip running along the rear lower part of the frame. That would be titanium and yes she is officially dangerous Sent from my SM-J727P using Tapatalk

You really should take the plunge and come to the dark side (welding). I can't fathom what you would come up with. Sent from my SM-J727P using Tapatalk

Oh one more thing you notice I'm running different tires. I needed just a tiny bit more ground clearance in the rear so a quick trip to college cyclery snagged up these sweet 26x2.5 ol skool tread tires. They give me just the taller sidewall I needed and I think the all black gives it a more...

RRBBO13 RATLINER ( tail lights, more sprockets, titanium and she is done)

Kingfish gave me this idea (thanks buddy) to use a few curved tubes. I ended up just doing the front one as I feel it still maintains the open look of the frame while doing exactly what I wanted. It rides amazing now and other than a small cross brace near the rear wheel I'm calling the frame...

RRBBO13 RATLINER ( tail lights, more sprockets, titanium and she is done)

So I knew from the start that this design using this tubing would require a gusset or another tube or something. I found this super nice thick plate and made it up. The idea was to taper the ends speed holes blah blah. Well it just didn't look good. To keep it structural as well would have ment...

Lol thank you Toro. Yea I guess now that it looks a bit more like a bike than a trombone it makes a bit more sense. Up next will be fenders gussets and no kool hopefully Sent from my SM-J727P using Tapatalk

Now there is an idea. Lol and I know your just ribbing us. Honestly though you get one of these on a mountain road it's very fun. Only weighing 2400 pounds they are like little go karts. Sent from my SM-J727P using Tapatalk

I love my toaster it's been to obc three times without a hick up and the last two times were with a trailer on hauling bikes. All the while still getting 30 mpg. It a if you know u know sorta thing I guess. Sent from my SM-J727P using Tapatalk

I have a 4 1/2 And I don't much like them even on my muscle bikes. For instance my drag bike (spoiler allert) has a crank over 7" for max torque. I forget what this one was honestly it was last min trying to beat a fb build off deadline and make it ride lol. Sent from my SM-J727P using Tapatalk

Oh it's tight. If you lean wrong they will hit. So I'm going to dig through my stuff and find a 5 1/2 inch crank. I need to find a taller rear tire as the drop outs ended up getting mounted a bit lower than I had originally intended. Sent from my SM-J727P using Tapatalk

Thanks guys yea it has a lot of curves and it was a challenge to make it not look so spaghetti but still function. I'm nowhere near done still have fenders to do, and the bars and fork were just for testing. I have something much more extreme in mind Sent from my SM-J727P using Tapatalk
