    Easy Rider (Class 2)

I think this might be the place for the rear caliper. I will have to weld up new mounting points but it looks like it belongs here. It also places the cable alignment close to ideal for my foot brake plans.

    Thanks, this is very helpful.

    Easy Rider (Class 2)

I am not looking for a ton of power on this but I will keep the Honda clone in mind if this doesn't do what I need. Thanks.

    Easy Rider (Class 2)

I apologize if the pics are sideways. I am using my phone to do this. Today's progress. I am getting More and more excited as it is starting to take shape. The grips were about 1 inch wider than the old Schwinn grips. They were also a terrible fit. The throttle side fit okay but the other...

    Easy Rider (Class 2)

I am not sure yet if it will have pedals or not. As far as torque goes this is a 20" rear wheel as opposed to a 26" so torque should be slightly improved. I have a redneck engineered kickstart in my head. Now I just have to make it happen. It is still a few steps away though. Next step is finish...

Easy Rider - Captain America Bike

Nice build! I think your bike looks great. Much more "easy rider" than mine will be.

    Easy Rider (Class 2)

Thanks. You just made my day. I will have to look for your build later. I didn't get much done last night. I dropped the tank last night while test fitting it in different positions. It got three dents in it. The metal is very thin. I am not sure modifying the tank will be an option with the...

    Swingbike Kits

Top tubes are ready now. You can see it should all fit in a tidy little box.

    Easy Rider (Class 2)

The forks were done during another build off about 3 years ago. I think I called that one Hoosier daddy...I figured it had been long enough back, and I will be changing enough this time I could reuse a lot of it for this build. The bike will keep much of the shape I created last time, but will...

    Easy Rider (Class 2)

Thanks. Yes, I built the front end. I used a couple of really tall sissy bars.

    Easy Rider (Class 2)

It handles great going straight. Other handling isn't too bad. Turning sharp feels a little off due to the factory head tube angles. I may address this by making another top frame section for it with a more laid back head tube.

    Easy Rider (Class 2)

It was a finished, riding bike but there is a lot to be done. First thing is to fab a motor mount of some kind. It is just balanced in the photo. The motor was designed to clamp to the down tube and seat tube but this bike has neither. Second thing is to flip the rear wheel around and get the...

    Easy Rider (Class 2)

I may not finish this before time but I figure this would be a good place for the build. I have so many ideas for this bike and a lot of fab work so who knows where this will end up. Here is the beginning anyway.

HELP !!!, potential Sliver King trade

I had a '69 Apple Krate for years. I rarely rode it. I finally sold it for way less than I should have because although it was one of my bucket list bikes I didn't make use of it and I don't really miss it. If you want to check the silver king off the bucket list I say go for it. Enjoy that that...

    Motirized Swing Bike?

I hadn't thought of a friction motor. That would look good on the black bike. I will have to think about that and look into it more.

    Motirized Swing Bike?

I am very comfortable on these bikes. The black one stays locked/rigid most of the time due to the wheelie bar. The orange one is only ever locked for transporting it.

    Motirized Swing Bike?

I am interested in motirizing one of these two bikes, maybe another; with one of those 80cc 2 stroke motors for around $120. Two questions for the RRB members. Which bike would you suggest? The black one almost never gets ridden. Maybe this would change that. The orange one would just be fun...

    Swingbike Kits

Update.12/6/16 The top tubes are now notched. These have been shaped, cut and measured based on the original 1970's swingbike frames. I have used this exact method to build dozens of frames. This is most of what you need to complete a frame. The head tubes are stronger than the originals so...
