    Lime Twist

Due to time I am leaving the rear wheel in the factory position for now. Someday it will hopefully be longer.

It still needs a kickstand. I want to try and have some stickers made before the deadline but this is pretty close to what it will be. I’ll try to post a riding video in the next few days.

Thanks Mr. Monkeyarms. The rear tire is innova brand 20x3” slick. I bought it from bmx guru but there are a number of places that sell them. You just have to know what it is. There is also a whitewall version the same size that is available. Here is a video of the truck just for you! You have...

Thanks. The rear end has not yet been moved. I still may move it in the future. Where the seat is makes the front end very light. The long fork may be helping to hold it down. Extending the rear wheel back would definitely help but with the amount of time I have available this is likely the...

Pedals showed up! I have some green glitter Schwinn grips that will get me by until my lime green grips show up but they may come after the deadline.

Found my crank was very bent so I drove around looking for yard sales. I ran across a house for sale that had a crusty 10 speed bike. It still has the box protectors on the front axle…Maybe a case of purchased new and immediately left for 40 years? I called and they said I could have it! New...

I modified the seat stem to add a bushing so it will ride and work much better with the seat suspension on the sissy bars.

Just toying with ideas this morning… Rear dropout relocation brackets??? This position is about 52” wheelbase.

What gear to go with? Stingray gear for the slightly more decorative look or the mini for the simple look and more torque for easier wheelies?

I don’t know now…. I just noticed my forks are bent… the way they are bent won’t really affect anything but they will look bent. I started to scuff the paint up trying to straighten them. I’m also now considering doing dual 20” wheels or maybe reuse this old chopper for I made years ago…

Got a few more parts today. This banana seat is huge! I was expecting something a big shorter front to back. I have a 20x3 slick coming for the rear.

    Build Off Musicians lounge

I built a bunch of cigar box guitars last year. I wish I had known about them as a teenager. Pretty easy to learn and to casually play and only costs about $15-20! Here is a video of a coworker playing an electric one I made.

Thanks Kram. I’m going to look for your build right now!! They are always so clean! I am not making frames right now. I finally have good tools and welders etc but it just isn’t worth the time it takes to do it.

It’s been a few years. I wondered if you would still be here. This is the last one of my last batch of 10 frames. I was planning v on just keeping it as wall art but a couple years ago I sold my real swing bike frame. I just happened to pop in here and saw there was a build off so I decided to...

    Lime Twist

I built this frame years ago using a 2000’s reproduction SWINGBIKE rear triangle. It was used as decoration on my wall for the past few years. I decided to finally build it up. I just ordered a bunch of parts. Hopefully it will be complete by the deadline!
