    Swingbike Kits

Here is the frame with the lock mech and spring installed. Yes, you can build one of these...with basic tools/skills (hammer, vice, grinder, drill) and a welder or friend who welds.

Easy Rider continued. Gas powered Harley inspired SwingBike

I picked up some knock off brand Harley mirrors. "Live to ride Ride to live"...I am liking the ridiculousness of this bike more and more.

    Swingbike Kits

I bought a few donor parts and spent about an hour this morning cutting, fitting and tacking together most of one of these frames just to show how easy it is to make a decent loooking swingbike frame with one of these kits. Another two or three hours and it could be all welded, test fitted and...

    WHEELIE BARS!

On a bike at regular ride height this works pretty well. On this bike it acts more like a true wheelie bar to keep you from doing wheelies.

Easy Rider continued. Gas powered Harley inspired SwingBike

Today I took the first few steps of making a tail light using center caps for a trailer wheel. I cut just the lip off one and will make spring retainers to hold it and the lens in place. The lens was a custom spare that I made years ago for an old Harley. The lens was made with a hand carved...

    Swingbike Kits

Updated again. I realized after multiple requests about notching the top tubes that it would be a good idea for me to notch them using my jig. This should make things much easier for you and much more precise.

    Swingbike Kits

I apologize for the delayed response. I was not getting notified of replies to this thread. The original post has been updated with a photo of what you get. What you will need are two forks with stems and the chain stays with bottom bracket from a donor bike.

I just updated the original post with current details and a lower price. For a quick response please pm me with any specific questions. For some reason I did not see some of the replies until several days after they were posted when I looked for this thread.

This conversion was my mbbo entry. It is an original swingbike frame with a dual exhaust two stroke motor. The second picture was the key part in making this whole thing work since the swingbike frame had no way to mount the motor. It is one of those never ending always evolving projects. It...

I love how you laid that seat post back and stuffed the banana seat right down on top of that fat tire. Looks great!

Somehow I had missed this one. Very nice!

    Easy Rider class 2

After gapping the spark plug and putting a little restriction in the exhaust pipes I was able to get it to about 25mph. Plenty fast for a swingbike.:)

    Easy Rider class 2

This was a fun challenge. I jumped in late and thought it would be a New Years deadline. There are some amazing builds here. I love to see all the talent and creativity. I have a few things I want to do with it still.when I make more progress I will continue this build in the motorized bike...

    Easy Rider (Class 2)

The new pulley location solved all chain issues. I also removed the master link all together. A bicycle chain breaker works on these bigger engine chains. I also tried to quiet the noise down by inserting some half inch rubber stoppers in the exhaust tips. It worked some and gave it a lot more...

    Easy Rider (Class 2)

Plan a for the chain was direct drive with no pulleys. Clearance was too tight. Plan b was to use 1 pulley and lift the chain for clearance. I skipped this plan. Plan c was to reroute the chain under the frame. It worked but the chain came off more than acceptable. (More than once). Plan d is...
