It’s a 1974. It’s got 80,000 miles on it, and it drives really well! I’ve wanted one since I was a kid. :)

Steering wheel and helm installed, I just need a longer steering cable, and the linkage to attach that to the motor. It also gave me a chance to take the sun bug to the beach :)

Its a 26 inch frame but I’m running a 24 on the rear, the lowering shackles are a little bit too angled to have clearance for a 26. The rear rack I made helps with the illusion though. Thank you for the honorable mention! :)

The steering cable is a bit short so I ordered a longer one. I only need a couple more parts, and my kayak is a motor boat! :)

Today I got some work done. I drilled where the motor mount is gonna mount to the kayak. No holes needed to be drilled in the yak, just the mount. It’s mounting to the pair of accessory rails behind the seat, and there is an existing hole to mount a rudder. It’s going to hold great, rock solid...
