We see these in the shop regularly, Bottom Bracket failure, crank arm bolts stripping, and rear hub failure. Rear hub is the worst because coaster 48 spoke hubs are hard to find and not too cheap. Good idea for a bike but poor execution and that's why it is $149!

My Experience with these type bikes is It will sell OK and take a few years to go through the inventory. Then about 3 to 5 years from now you'll see people calling the Felt Dealers looking for them and the price on ebay will be as much or more than msrp. I could be wrong but I doubt it, price...

Here on the ocean where I'm at the pressed steel braces are really rusty after just a few months and the round braces on the Electra's still look great. For where I'm at the round are much better suited to our climate. Mike
