    Yes, there is a little more room between the seat and chain stays with the shorter 24" wheel. So instead of a 26 x 2.125 you could run a 2.3 or bigger in some cases.

    Here it is today. Took it back to where it should be, crusty. Got a nice, ratty set of long pull Torrington bars for it. This was my first pre-war bike.

    '48 Roadmaster badged Cleveland Welding bike. Got the frame and fork in and built it up with parts on hand. Probably my favorite frame style. Has some nice paint left.
