    Crack is Whack

Is this going to be a thing that needs to be addressed? I do have the same donor hub but I was hoping for a few more months before I started messing with lacing wheels. If this goes out once a month on paved rail trails, I am thinking it will be file. Advice, work arounds solutions welcomed.

    Pacific BMX

Chrome in great shape is reason enough to spend $25.00 and unlike a 1969 Chevy Nova bumper, this silver streak can be ridden, which by the looks of it was not much at all.

The closing shot for the weekend (although I took tommorow off too). Thank you for the hospitality!!!

    Independence Day 2024

The bearings are a bit loose but this bike rides like a Caddilac! Big and heavy, the springer fork is awesome (first experience with one that works). I understand it is from 1941. More to follow. I am also mashing the two Schwinn's into one saving the wheels (hubs) that were "Made in France'...

    Independence Day 2024

All of this history and backstory leans the bike to a permanent place! What gearing did you finally settle on? Any room in you're shop for another?

    Independence Day 2024

Wow, what a great reply. When I saw the bike IRL my immediate thought was that it would be a great Amsterdam bike. Riding it, before the back tire blew the sidewall, reminded me of an old C20 with a granny gear. That truck just wanted to move bricks, this bike just wants to haul groceries. This...

    ** The next build off 2024 **

So. Step 1. Procure appropriate frame. Step 1. Look for Forum where pics are to be posted. Step 1. Plan or don't plan a final vision but post pics either way. Step 1. Win. Last Step. Sign sponsorship deals and sell autographed prints. Is there anything else to know?

    Rebuilding Pedals

Hey all, I can't imagine the C Chanel or H Chanel rubber strips were manufactured for the bicycle industry. I'm looking for some kind of weather stripping or similar and wondering if anyone has alternates or ideas. I have access to some 3003 (soft aluminum) extrusions but they are not quite...

Interesting. Does a 'take it apart, fond missing pieces, put it back together and make it rideable count as Rat Rod? This particular one will likely turn into a semi stock Good & Plenty Edition.

So I think I'll need some practice but when I work on this '69 (100% guess) Spaceliner it reminds me of one of my wifes pieces. I'm going to be happy just getting it back together as I dream of lift kits for bicycles that look like carousel characters.

    Greetings and salutations...

Funny, I can find myself on 20 inches and still feel at home (just sore) but on 24, I feel oversized for the mode of transportation below!

Also achild of 1980's BMX. WWBA and ABA both in New Jersey. Knees are also a thing now and rail trails are favorite spots to ride, along with a few sections of the revolutions 'Patriots Path'.

Hello fellow enthusiasts. My name is Edward, Eddie and Ed and I've come hear for comradery and to learn. Mom always said, don't be the smartest person in the room and those words have lead me down a path of humility and a constant need to learn. I enjoyed BMX circa 1982-1990 and I still have an...
