    Felt Thick Bricks or Schwalbe Fat Franks

    I have both and agree the Franks are easier to ride with least road resistance. One more tire to consider is the Hookworms which is my favorite tires on cruisers. For looks I don't like the Franks with the reflective strip around the tire and like the plain looking Felts better.

    Steve, I live at the ocean front and have some bikes you can borrow. Have Felts, Surly Pugsley, BMX Cruisers, Dynos, and Electra for the wife. You will have lots of fun riding on the boardwalk. I recommend Rockerfellers for dinner. Monday is prime rib night and they have an early bird...

    Go for the Laguna Forks, but make sure you get the frame first. I really love the Laguna Cruiser more than my other 16 bikes.

    FAT FRANK TIRE TUBE SIZE

    Yes it is the rim width that makes a difference. I don't put Fat Franks on rims with 1.5" width, but love them on either 1.75 araya rims or 2.25 ukai rims.

    Just finished: Powdered coated metallic brown, profile cranks, acs seat clamp, shinny side polished gold ukai rims, fat frank tires, gold primo pedals, brooks saddle, sealed sunshine front hub and Laguna handle bars.

    On my suntour rear hub, I had the same problem. After I took it all apart I found I had a bad Clutch Spring. On your part 9, I think the clutch spring is the part with the two tabs that goes into part 6.

    Those are called VDC Cruiser Bars, they pop up on eBay all the time. If you do a search on completed auctions you will see they go as low as $80 and as high as $280.     I got a Dyno Deuce that I put: 24" surly rim in rear with 3speed 26" surly rim in front Rides sweet and stable. Perfect combination At one time I tried with surly Rolling Darryl Rims to wide kept rubbing frame Pm if need more info
