Are you teasing us by not showing the whole frame?

Back in the shop tonight for a little work. My pieces together small diameter seat guts was slipping so I went with the tried and true spacer trick. I hope all you guys know about it, but if not, this is the spacer you buy and split to adapt a new style seat clamp with an old style seat post...

I’ve just accumulated too much stuff. Hoping to get back working on the 47 Chevy truck soon.

Nope, I was more concerned for you wanting a longer stroke when it gets going. Nothing is more frustrating than riding a bike with a short crank when there’s room for a full-size one.

Freeliner with 3 x 1 gearing is GO!

Haha, I’m pretty sure I’m the one that broke the head tube on that first small berm jump. In the video you can hear a “crack” but in real life it was as loud as a .22 being fired.

I rubbed Murphy Oil Soap into it twice yesterday and it soaked it up. I’m going to keep working it in. The saddle was never ridden and I found it in a bike shop. I’m hoping the simplicity of the bike is what makes it special.

Hopefully it will feel as good as my other single speed bikes within that gear inch range. My only concern is the rolling resistance in those huge tires.

Freeliner with 3 x 1 gearing is GO!

I did a “pre test” of my bike’s off-road ability and it had ape hangers, I thought I was going to die going downhill, and uphill I just didn’t have the “pulling” leverage.

    Circle Freak.

Looks amazing. Can’t wait to see how you deal with lateral movement, that’s always been something I worry about with floating leaf springs.

I would brag about it but I’m honestly embarrassed by how much I’ve amassed.

Thank you, my can full of post clamps limited me, but when looking at the stems I had so many options.

I’ll do that, I wasn’t sure how it worked with everyone.

    How long are the cranks?

Got out tonight and did a little work. I was mostly looking for a stem and I used an old school fork with a tiny interior diameter. Hardly any of these fit and it was only the basic single bolt type. I finally found a new stem I bought from PorkchopBMX that fits, but it was blue, so I gave it...

Search Amazon for “vintage leather bicycle saddle” and there are some lower priced saddles that look similar.

I’ve been buying from Justin at Porkchop for years and his customer service is above any other. I’d love to shop at a local bike shop but my closest is 50 miles.

Plus it doesn’t hurt that my frame is garden hose colored. 😂

Haha, that’s hilarious. My brain was trying to tell me it looked like something and now I know what!

Nobody had anything to say about my stem made into a seat post clamp, is this a win or a lose?
