Just checked my route (I have an app where you can draw your route after a ride instead of relying on live GPS data) and I rode over 10 miles this morning.

There’s nothing else I can do with this bike but ride it, and I just rode it all over town and I love this thing, and I hope you do too. This bike started life as a Jamis Explorer 5 speed and I went in a late 80s early 90s BMX direction with it. The bike is dialed and I love it.

I don’t mean polished, I mean like fluorescent colors. 😉

I’ve been on this forum long enough and built enough rat rod bikes to know now that it’s not the bike, but the builder that makes it a rat.

The paint ran with the clear. Oh well, that’s as close as anyone will ever see it.

Gotta let the clear set up before I put it back on the bike and I’m done.

Now I have to finish the head badge.

Just finished the brakes and went for a ride, so smooth, perfect fit.

Gotta find 2 tiny brake cable pieces for the BMX levers and then I can put on cables and be mechanically done.

Last season, episode 7. We didn’t just get bright alloy, also confiscated these black ones.
