Good evening, I got some paint done and some parts installed! The bottom bracket, kick stand, seat post, seat post clamp and triple tree. I’ll get this thing on the ground this weekend and scope out some wheels.

The front end is here and I want to get it on the bike just to look but first, paint. I used this front end on my last Felt so I’m comfy with it. I’ll cut the fork tubes down as needed at the end of the build during final adjustments.

This bike is sweet! I love that you take the time. that Nexus 3 speed is bullet proof. I run a 44 up front and a 22 in back. Seems to be a good place to start. The Sturmey Archer 3 speeds are nice but the Nexus are smoother shifting And much lighter.

Nice ride, that seat is a treasure and so is the bike! Just start cleaning. I look at patina like scars and tattoos, it’s all part of the story. I have a lot of patina! Enjoy🙂

You do it for the love love of the art, not the $ just kidding! Breaking even is as good as it gets with an occasional HR. material costs are nuts but it’s better than doing nothing. Idle hands are the devils workshop! your already dreaming about it!

The 2.125’s only fit without fenders (barly) but it’s close, a 1.9 or 2.1will work if your replacing the rims. these are Schwable Rapid Robs and are 26X2.1. Should be some choices in that area.
