first mock up . I had originally intended to build this as a Hawthorne , with 40's Hawthorne springer . But while playing with parts , I decided to use the Huffman , cuase I like the way the light fits , and the fork is longer from a girls bike , and would add some attitude to the frame .

Gonna be a traditional build . Nuttin' fanct , just a Kool rider . Using a Huffman springer

It has a Shelby sprocket with a Roadmaster tail lense , wich indicates it was built in 1952 or after , when Shelby was sold and production merged with Cleveland Welding bikes . What is the Serial # ? It may have the date of manufacture .

Sounds like it could be a 1954 Cleveland Welding bike . Look closer and I'll bet that last "0" is actually a letter C with a small w inside
