    Previous Build Off Winners

I know there are people who always liked having a single list the top 3 build off winners from each year So I decided to make an updated version There was a complete list last year when we attempted to do a hall of fame vote However that was deleted when an issue arose during the voting The 1st...

Everything with this build literally rested on the rear So once I knew it would work I could start mocking up the bike and check out the springer arrangement as well which is a 28/700 size may go to the 26" once my new tires arrive Bars leaned forward Flipped in racing mode

Didn't get everything done over the holiday as I had wanted But did get the rear of the bike sorted and that was the main thing Needed to put the manta ray rear coaster on the narrow rim dismantled both Turned out the manta ray had 48 spokes so I had to remove 6 from each side to fit the...

I am going tonight to pick up a complete 2000's Manta Ray Not because I am switching builds but because I am going to pilfer a lot of parts from this bike I am definitely going to use the 170mm wide coaster hub for sure There is a possibility I may use the front fork and do away with the...

Yes getting those as a prize from KF for getting 2nd place came in handy they are really heavy so this is the only build they work on but I did have to buy an adapter to fit the larder bmx crank thread Yes but I actually tend to find better stuff at ACE hardware although OSH used to be my go...

This week is shaping up to be quite productive 1st the small stuff I was able to grind off a small lip inside the 3 piece crank I had to do this so I could swap mount the crank arms in reverse when in gravity race mode Normal pedal mode and reversed so I can use the pedal as a leg rest...

Got the bracket all done to bolt on the discs to the wheel here is what I ended up with And this is it attached to the wheel the bolts I used are a little bigger than I would have liked but they will work for now until I can make new backrests with smaller bolt threading Now you can see...

Since most regular forks will not work i am forced to either fabricate a wide fork or buy a fork of a fat tire bicycle Right now I have a design to turn a 24" knee action springer into a girder springer Along with the spring from the rear suspension of a proflex mtn bike

Anyone know what this bike is or was?

Don't know if this info is to late for you But that frame is a Stelber Made in New York if I remember correctly (I have a 24" frame waiting to be built) Btw not all of their bikes had the bend at the BB
