That’s awesome. I’m gonna have to finish my BO e-bike and cruise it down to a nearby business and try the same!

    E-Ruckus

Looks good. How’s the legality in your area? Here in aus it would be illegal. As it’s not a bicycle with electric assist it would need to be road registered. I’ve just pulled one apart because they are no longer legal here. Hopefully the end result will resemble something that isn’t so...

Good on you. At this point in my life I’m kinda wishing I’d done a trade after school so I could be doing something like that for a living instead of wanting to and not having any training.

Lucky you. I’d love to have access to those sorts of machines. Nice work!

    Trans-MIG-RaT...RidE ViDeo ! Pg 15

Horizontal flames routed/carved into the tank a few mm then given the butane treatment? Kinda ghost flames.

MFP Pursuit - missed the deadline

There may be some inspiration in that - but not exactly.

Michigan Camel Back, RRBBO#14 Class 2

Pretty wild stuff. How about Quasimodo or ‘the bells’ for a name. It’s a bit of a hunchback.

Rat Rod Bikes Build Off #14?

Other like myself I guess. Procrastinators at heart. Lots of preliminary planning, scoping measuring, then a flurry of activity at the end.

Tank looks good. I hope whatever I build looks as good.

    Kharkovskaya Lastochka - FINISHED

That frame looks almost new in comparison to the rest of the parts.

The Goose - late swap to the INTERCEPTOR

...and then I found another 2kg of seat in the garage. Might have to weigh the frame if it doesn’t overload the scales.

The Goose - late swap to the INTERCEPTOR

This morning I had a few minutes so... Take off about 1.7kg for the crate and left with about 12kg of stuff removed - and it is still a heavy frame and wheels (without batteries too) Some of it will go back in as I’m planning on using the instruments and some lights.

MFP Pursuit - missed the deadline

I’ll throw this in for Class One. While I’ve got a lot ahead of me in class 2, this should be a fairly quick build and one that doesn’t create much noise - so late nights and early mornings and other times when the house should be quiet can be build time. Here is the donor frame. Same cheap...

The Goose - late swap to the INTERCEPTOR

Ha ha. It’s still a pretty heavy the plastic fairing weighs next to nothing in comparison. I might weigh it for giggles though.

The Goose - late swap to the INTERCEPTOR

Crikey it’s got a lot of parts! And so many screws (in the plastic tub) I’m aiming to fit 26” wheels and will re-lace the hub motor to a proper sized rim. It needs to be a proper bicycle first, then get some motorbike style enhancements. Will probably require some surgery to the rear section to...

Which part is getting underpants on it?

The Goose - late swap to the INTERCEPTOR

Have almost stripped the donor down. Pics tomorrow when I can spread it out in the light and show how many bits there are. One of the reasons for using this as a donor is that they have become illegal here. As the pedals are an afterthought, it is no longer considered a bicycle with electric...

The Goose - late swap to the INTERCEPTOR

Not a lot of progress yet, I’ve decided I need to finish a coffee table first to get it out of the garage. But a partial tear down revealed some quality Chinese wiring waterproofing. Either that or customs missed another contraband package and so did the receiver. I’ve also been contemplating...

The Goose - late swap to the INTERCEPTOR

My plans to get started went awry today. So far I have a donor and a dream. Based on today’s inspection with a tape measure the donor is going to need some modifying, hence Class 2. If the tear down shows me something different it might end up shunting to Class 1. Anyway, here’s the donor...

Rat Rod Bikes Build Off #14?

Rats! I’d forgotten the time zone rule. I have the day off tomorrow. Guess the garage is getting a proper clean before I start then!
