    Muscle Punk.

Over here in Aus muscle bikes are typically known as dragsters, but Drag Punk doesn’t seem to have the same ring to it. I picked up this modern department store Mambo Dragster for cheap a little while ago and now have a plan. Steam Punk styling over the basic bike. Bit of copper tubing, some...

Leaf Spring Springer Fork, have parts, ideas welcome

Wouldn’t The spring rate would make a difference on where the pivot is best mounted? Then the two also photos appear to make the spring move in different directions which might affect the spring rate.

Well, more like it was a form of transport that is now often considered a toy because ‘motor vehicles’

    Post Your Final Thoughts

It’s interesting seeing different builders’ perspectives and motivations. I like building stuff. The build off helps give me a focus and deadline for that building. Last years build off bike is gone. I sold it as I wasn’t really going to ride it. The bloke that bought it was stoked with his...

    Winter build off?

**Whispers** You are allowed to build when there is no build off

    Post Your Final Thoughts

Absolutely. Great to see so many finishers. Not sure the extra time helped me or not in the end. I’m a procrastinator so it probably didn’t really help! After following the builds from he start I’ll still need to go back and check out each one as well. Then I’m create a short list and then try...

MFP Pursuit - missed the deadline

Yeah. Spent way too long trying to get the 2nd hand e-kit working, still not 100% either. Should have got it rideable first.

MFP Pursuit - missed the deadline

I guess times up. Unfortunately this one threw me too many curve balls to fit with the remaining time (thanks to my procrastination). Happy to have got this far, but the frustrations got the better of me. Mounting the battery took about 4 times longer than expected and still isn’t right. I’m...

    Interceptor

I removed the cantilever bars, crimped and filled the joints. Added a 36v front hub motor, battery and controller then customised the theme with paint. Custom engraved headtube badge and vinyl lettering to complete the look. Thanks for looking.

    Interceptor

This late swap into class 2. I didn’t really plan on this build, it was a side project. As in life, plans changed and this was the bike I could finish. It isn’t in the league of other custom frame builds but I’m happy thus far with the outcome.

The Goose - late swap to the INTERCEPTOR

As close to finished as it will get. No time for fancy photos. Seems I bit off more than I could chew this build.

    Volo.

Won’t be disappointed it didn’t make the finish date after it is finished. In awe of your work.

The Goose - late swap to the INTERCEPTOR

Getting there. Had to move the battery back a bit to fit the controller in the front. Will cover and tidy it. Added the chain guard and vinyl tags. Still a bit untidy. Rideable, but doesn’t have a shifter mounted for the 3spd hub.

The Goose - late swap to the INTERCEPTOR

The Goose is cooked, but my Class one build plans changed and I ended up with a 'prop' bike, which I figured can go into Class 2. This frame was swapped out when the MFP Pursuit battery wasn't going to fit. Original frame. I hacked off the cantilever bars to fit the battery, so it's a frame...

MFP Pursuit - missed the deadline

Now the end result is a bit more obvious I’ve updated the name. I’d always thought the big black beast driven by Mad Max, the last of the V8s, was the Interceptor. Turns out officially it was a Pursuit Special. So this tribute is more appropriate to be just a Pursuit model.

MFP Pursuit - missed the deadline

Some progress today. Bits and pieces. Painted chain guards. Filed back the disc mount so I could fit the caliber. The mount was a bit close to the rotor so the adapter was too wide. Brakes fitted now. You can just see the shiny surface behind the fork plate. (Bike is upside down) Also played...

    '68 Sting Rat

Great work. Love the mix of old school/patina with modern parts. True resto-mod.

MFP Pursuit - missed the deadline

Little things progressing. Unfortunately the big thing, the battery mount is causing some issues. In the mean time the Interceptor has pedals and a chain and has taken me round the block. Battery is out charging at present - this one was easy to mount. 2 nutserts into the frame and boot it in.

    BLACKBIRD (Skylark Convertible)

Love the colouring. Very hot rod. It looks like the front fender is way too long but I’m sure the wheels will sort that out.

    Swamp Thing

Love it. The green glow in the fog is AWESOME!
