Don't feel bad, nobody is guilt tripping you for hoarding the trophy for so long. I'm sure in time all of our feelings will heal. We all have broad shoulders. We can understand how you have become attached to it and are reluctant to let it go. ;)
How I'm hauling my bike this summer. Keeps it up high out of the dirt. Will be using my heavy duty swing out hitch rack if its a family ride. Ironically I use the ski box for my tools and haul skis in the bed?!
Took it to Plymouth today and rode around town for some photos. It was super smooth and the auto shift worked flawlessly. Kind of neat as you coast along loosing or gaining speed you can hear the shifter working so when you do start pedaling again you are in the proper gear. Need to sort...
Ok, one more addition, wife brought me home this leather purse . Now I have some material that nearly matches the seat to wrap the stem with. I guess technically it would be a "Murse" since she specifically went out and bought it for me. Which is totally cool.

good night.. shifter is hooked up and working, had to make a cable clamp to fit into the factory linkage. Mounted up a nice old reflector on the rear fender, lights and horn are mounted up, chain tension is set thanks to my wife going out of her way to get me a 1/2 link yesterday, seat and bars...
Thanks RM. I'm trying to keep this one uncluttered.
not a lot of work today, I did rework the paint on the horn and light though. Just watching paint dry....
That's a heck of a present! Shelby built I think. Has most of a Delta Silver Ray which is like gold. Its in great shape, just give it a nice cleaning, maybe a polish and enjoy. Is the chainguard cut through from the chain?
If we want to ride in there are a bunch of places to start from. Better to meet on the Laconia side of things then we could also go down the road to the Train Station and have a burrito
Thanks Luke. kind of a minor thing but the post I made was not looking so good.
I painted my light & horn black and that was not good, repainted them blue and that wasn't much better, going to try masking a design in them and see what happens.
