I was wondering if anyone knew if my Higgins would of had fork truss rods, headlight or rear rack and what they would look like. As far as I know this is a 1951??

Hmmm, never heard of them..... Yes I had one in the '60's as a kid and if I remember right you could turn a large dial on the side to increase the sound. I don't think they are very large as mine was mounted on a 20" tire bike. good luck in your search.

I have looked on Flea Bay in the past and they do not show up,I imagine that they only came on the limited production RF they are a tough find. Try some bike shops that carry Electra and maybe there will be some old stock.

Yes, underdrive are missing.Your schwinn must be a flatlander with that chainring,the Trek I took my wheelset off of had a 36 tooth and I run it with a 30/19 tooth combo now.

The one I have is more like it without the underdrive (lower)gears as it is more like it uses 4567 gears of the seven speed. You will need a smaller front chainring unless your only travelling downhill Lol!

Yup, I ran some 26x3" Flames on this KK/Dyno a few years back,also a cantilever with faux tank.

I really like those Dyno frames ,they have a longer wheelbase,welded kickstand mount and will fit the 24x3" tires easily.

Here is one of my favorite cantilever frames,it is a Huffy "Daisy Daisy" Tandem.I really like the way the twin tubes recurve to go from the male to female style seating position. Great flow.

That may be true,the wheels I got were from a 26" wheel beach cruiser (Trek) that had a 36T front chainring. I used a 23 rear cog with a 30T front and it was too low geared and now have a 19 rear cog and it works well for paths and trails with some hills.

I put one of the 4 speed nexus on my Electra cruiser and had to run a much smaller front chainring being that first is 1 to 1 ratio and 2,3 and fourth are "overdrive" compared to the three speed that has 2nd as 1 to 1 and 1st is lower geared and 3rd is higher geared. Not sure why Nexus did the...
