That is definetly one of all time popular Hot Rod themes. The other popular color combo would be black instead of red primer. :D

I still have the flaming eye and after seeing the pic I think I will drop the headlight lower and tuck it tighter to the frame. As far as the sprocket it does need something or a change, I might try a checkered inset on the chaingaurd so it breaks it up a bit. :)

:) I feel to keep an even playing field and in the spirit of a Rat Rod bike, that all work should be performed by the builder . In saying this, the paint should be done from a rattle can to eliminate any professional "favours" or ringers. After all I sure that a lot of us have connections...

I agree , there are some classic style frames out there that have withstood the test of time. let's see some imagination and what it takes to make them stand out It's pretty easy to get a bunch of old parts and slap something together! :wink:
