:D No problem new-dharma , I don't know if the others guys have found this but the bikes still scoot with the large tires and make for a nice cushy ride. I also have got a 26 x 3 kenda flame but it won't fit on any of my frames...... oh well.

    24x3.??

:) I been using old 24" mountainbike rims, you can get the whole bike pretty cheap. On some I did a couple years ago I even used them with derraileurs but the chain gets close to the tires. Well let see if it worked

    8) Thanks Fattroy. The striping was done by a local longtime striper , he does great work. If look closely you can see the colors actually go over and under each other in places. The job actually took three days, letting one application dry before the next was applied. I want to get...

Did it work? Here's 2 bikes I did 2 years ago for my wife and I.There semi-flat black frames ,her's with blue lacquer tin with Tremclad clear on top, mine has just red enamel.(much easier). They are heavily pinstriped with lot's of polished stainless acorn nuts and button-head machine...

    Costa Rican Raleigh?

Canadian tire sells Raleigh Choppers with a single person seat (I guess as to not let people double ride) I wonder if it was one of those? Also Eaton's department stores in Canada had a Raleigh Chopper back in the day, and was rebadged as a Eaton's Fastback. Too bad you did'nt get a picture...
