Just a bike builder saying hi.

Welcome...I do the pic thing by hosting them on photobucket and then using cut and paste to put the IMG code in my post. [I M G]http://i1296.photobucket.com/albums/ag3/FBilljeeps/bills%20bikes/GEDC1923_zpswfhnjb7j.jpg[/IMG] yields this:(Once you take out the extra spaces.) Or you could get a...

    YETI Coolers

Having lived on the road and cooking on my tailgate for several years, I can tell you that the Yeti coolers do outperform the best cooler you can buy at Walmart. That said...you can buy a LOT of hamburger meat for what they get fro the silly things. I never bought one but a guy who ran with us...

    Junkyard Worksman

Did a bit of wrenching Sunday. I decided it was high time for a big boy crankset and sprocket, so I pulled the Cranbrook setup off my old ladies Firestone Cruiser...and put the stock skiptooth stuff back on it , since I had picked up a decent skiptooth wheelset for it at Howes Cave.. A few...

    CPSC Bicycle Recall

One Unicorn that repairs bikes and washes dishes, please.
  6. DJ Bill

    Does anybody know...

Top looks Like my CWC Roadmaster one. Bottom looks modified, almost like it was a regular sprocket someone ground every other tooth on... But I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than I will know for certain. There's also a sprocket ID guide somewhere out there on the net iif you can find it.

    Junkyard Worksman

I took it out for my usual 8 AM bike ride.. The Mesa Runner has been my main ride but I take any bike I have worked on for a shake down cruise on the same route.. And my impressions after riding in the daylight. Not as fast as it seemed in the dark. Pedaled surprisingly easy up the big hill I...

    Junkyard Worksman

Well, I managed to outrun the cops and made it home in a huge cloud of dust kicked up by the gnarly tires...... (not really, the cops were a figment of my imagination..) and I can now give the bike a grade... It's a home run! Not as heavy feeling as I had feared a Worksman could be... It felt...

My Wagons Caprice and Olds C.C.

Take care of that wagon.. it will treat you right...Good friend in the pilot car biz had one...he got about the same MPG as I did in a older 4 cyl Toyota Tacoma. (He and I filled up at teh same pumps on long trips and he always used less gas than I did.. and it went like stink.. The L83 package...

    Junkyard Worksman

Figured it was time to do a little building tonight after work... I started here with one of the famous Chuckz Frames: It's the INB model. (Industrial News Boy for those in the dark, like me..) Been used somewhere in Houston industry, got a wee bit of surface rust but it's straight and solid...

    Craigslist nightmares and dreams...

I'm trying to figure out where the tank is that I'm not seeing. and the springer.....or is it a springer tank and that's why we can't see it?

    MBBO4 Class 2 - DJ's Dilemma.......

Just lots of thoughts......I gotta get some time to make the tubes I need. (Of course having a neat old Worksman frame show up in the mean time I've been playing with that in my spare time..) Why yes, I am king of the procrastinators, when we get around to a vote...

    Adaptaptable bikes & accessories.

All depend on the individual and the trike.. .. Some like to go slow, some like speed...Although I'm not sure if there would be any difference in crash tendency with the training wheels. The trike may not be an option in your case, although they are pretty popular in the special needs market...

    Adaptaptable bikes & accessories.

Trikes are probably the best way out...if you can find a good one reasonably.

    Unknown Muscle Bike

AM I seeing pointed Murray style rear dropouts? I wonder what that thing under the seat is.
  16. DJ Bill

Does anyone know anything about this muscle bike?

Wow..a full suspension bike way before its time. Neato keen! The orange tube appears to be related to the shock..perhaps a fill point ?? The other shock has one attached too.

    SHOW US YOUR WORKSMAN BICYCLE

Looks like I might want to get a stronger than normal seatpost for my new Inb....What are my options?? I'm still (got the bike yesterday, lol. ) looking for a used stem and seatpost that fit the bike so I can ride it some before it snows.. I think I can scrounge the bb and crank from another...
