I bought one of the cheapie bike stands from Lidl. The stand itself is OK but the clamp is absolute garbage. I'm thinking of reworking it with something more substantial. I'll keep you posted -

How do you spend your day off?
Me? I had a bunch of rusty but functioning parts around the garage and a day off, and a friend had a frame he could spare so Viola! The Krustinator II is born! Just the thing for bombing around the neighborhood. Anyone else just build for fun? -
Madwagon crank size
The crank length should be stamped on the inside of the crank arm somewhere,usually up near the pedal. The width of the bottom bracket shell should be either 68mm or 73mm. That you can measure without removing anything, but the length of the spindle would be best guess without removing the crank... -

Finally found a BIG cruiser!
One of the reasons I got into building kustom cruisers is because stock frames were always too small for my 6'1" height. Well I finally found one that fits! It's the February 29 by Tuesday. Don't let the picture fool you, unlike the Onyx or the Millenial, this one has a frame as big as the 29"... -

The true value of this hobby...
I'm moving soon and have to thin the herd. I'm now at the point that I would rather give the bikes to friends than sell them to strangers. At least I'll still see them when friends ride them . Money comes and money goes.
