The wife said the beehive clashed because it was a bit too different and told her imagine it as one color or matching so did a B&W photo to show her and she agreed with me, it works!

Last nights attempt to put a beehive on build, neck is just a bit too long but it will work for now, I’ll have to make some kind of extender to stabilize it.

Made some progress today, I removed the rear fender without ruining it, was able to swap out the tires for barely enough clearance! I was playing with a few handlebar options and possibly trusses. I’m thinking I need a springer, may try the beehive or monark springer next weekend. I only have...

It won’t even roll:) I have some 24” midweight tires somewhere, going they are a bit thinner to clear.

I think I’m done for the day, starting to get windy and cold outside. I was disappointed trying to mount 26” fat tires couldn’t clear the width of frame and had to use some 24” fatties to just mock up, still not any sidewall clearance, and couldn’t remove the rear fender, will continue tomorrow...

I’ve had this sittin for years and could never decide what to build it. I like the old road bike look but also the cruiser look, so I’m Compromising within myself:) Hence build name: COMPROM15E

Looking at the headlight more and more via photos, yes it does look off with the beehive, maybe just remove it and keep the beehive the highlight rather than the light.

Added the Solar Light and Bars, I’m Starting to like the look, not sure to go with dipped bars just yet but it does look kewl!

Beehive looks good on the QS! Even the way it is, no need to repaint it Silver...

The main chain ring section is off-center If I pulled it back.

26” confirmed and looks to be off of a jetflow with the headlight bracket?

Picked this up this morning at a local swap, not sure if it’s 24” or 26” but it does look like they reversed out the springer and spray bombed it with silver. I’ll have to compare it against my 26” beehives and see if it could fit the build.
