Thank you for the kind words. That definitely is a monster. I’ve had motorcycles that were less brutish. And I envy you being by the sea. I occasionally get down to Virginia Beach and I can watch the dolphins and ship traffic all day. I appreciate that you took the time to respond in depth...

The 1910 Board track bike is spectacular, Funkme. You’re very talented and it’s cool that you represent one of the major genders. That said, powered bicycles have exploded since you built that bike, and going head-to-head against something like that with a single-speed, coaster brake cruiser or...

Ha ha! Everyone says with one vote the same three or four builders will get all the votes. They’re wrong, and you’re right, Carl. Your lemonaid was exactly how it’s supposed to be. furyus

Undoubtedly. Just something I think would be interesting, but not a must have. Ultimately, Steve has the final say on all of this and I'm certainly not lobbying him for the change. Just discussing it here in the pre-game show. I feel a little stronger about a class for motorized bikes with as...

Adds some intrigue. Everyone says that can't decide when they have unlimited voting and they base their votes on much more than what would be the technically best build. Vote for the one you dig for all the right reasons and let the chips fall. Like I wrote earlier, you might be surprised at the...

Why have votes at all if you’re ready to vote for, quote, the worst bike? furyus

    RRBBO16

Let’s be honest. There are bikes submitted to the final build-off vote that flat out don’t deserve a single vote for a variety of reasons. A lot of them. Go ahead and include anything I’ve submitted over the years - it’ll bounce right off. Yes, it’s discouraging to receive few or no votes, but...

I had been letting this sleeping dog lie, but I surely would like to see how it would work out. I usually only vote for one bike per class personally, even if I can vote multiple times. I'd like to add one vote per class to the proposed rules. furyus

Get your motor runnin’ Dun un nun-nun nunt Head out to the garage Dun un nun-nun nunt (with apologies To Steppenwolf) Now this isn’t an official-official announcement, but a knowledgeable source has revealed to me that there will likely be three classes in this year’s build-off: Traditional...

To add, since there’s nothing traditional about e-bikes, the category would be “anything goes” except the bike has to have pedals/crank/chain and they have to be functional. furyus

I think a third category for e-bikes with ic bikes tagging along would be a great idea. E-bikes are huge, and here to stay. You may be the only one in the category this year (bet not) but I’m certain it would grow over time. Gotta be approved by Corporate, but I’d vote yes for a third e/ic...
