    Before & After Pics

Thanks! It's a Sunn form 1995. Right now it's sitting in the attic, torn apart, because it needs new wheels, BB, headset, and brakes. Plus the wedge from the stem is stuck in the forks :(. My plan right now with it is to get someone to do something about the fork/stem wedge situation, buy some...

The anti-klunk? (Show us your urban bombers!)

Still have the bike, haven't done the convertion yet. I've decided to go with a 7 speed cassette, since that's what will fit on the rear hub without any mods, meaning I can go with whichever standard parts I can find cheap.

The anti-klunk? (Show us your urban bombers!)

I just replaced the cassette + derailleur with a single speed conversion kit (a single cog, a bunch of spacers, and a chain tensioner). Right now I'm using the wheelset I got with the On One Inbred I also posted (the frame is too large for me, so I'll be selling it and keeping most of the...

The anti-klunk? (Show us your urban bombers!)

I spent a couple of hours this afternoon giving my '95 Sunn the old Autosol and toothbrush treatment. It's a tedious job for sure, and my fingers hurt like hell now, but the result is worth it

    Hi from Copenhagen, Denmark

Thanks for the welcomes! The bike scene here in Copenhagen i mostly about fixies/singlespeeds, and vintage road bikes. There are also some chopper styled cruisers rolling about, but most of them look stock or shop-built. So I stick out form the norm a bit with my mid school bmx cruiser, and mtb...

The anti-klunk? (Show us your urban bombers!)

Here's my Anti-Klunk. My '95 Sunn Vertik, lovingly restored and converted to 22lbs of single-speedmachine. The 1.35" Schwalbe Kojac slicks are super fast, and surprisingly grippy. But they're not the best for jumping curbs, and the ride is quite hard on cobblestones and such, so I'll be...

    Hi from Copenhagen, Denmark

I just bought a slow, heavy bike, and intend to modify it quite a bit. So I thought this would be the right place to document my progress. The bike is a new-ish Schwinn Heavy Duti, and my plan is to replace pretty much everything but the frame and fenders. I'll probably start a build thread when...
