The weather was quite nice today - cold, but dry and sunny (the clouds had just come in when I took the pics). So I took the Wheeler for an afternoon spin by the harbour. A family of swans came sailing by as I was hanging out and taking pics. I see them quite often at this particular spot.

Thanks! Other than the price, the fork was a big plus for me; On a commuter there is no need for suspension, plus it's lighter, it looks better, and I won't have to deal with servicing a 20+ years old Rockshox.

I went up to my family's summer house this weekend to get the rest of the bike, and some tools home. Now I know how I'll be spending my spare winter evenings :D :happy:

This project has been stranded for the past 4 months, because finding a headset that fits the 27mm. cone on the fork was harder than expected. But finally one popped up in a retro mtb group, I'm in on the Facebook. And it's shiny STX :happy:
