*Silent Assassin* - Rear Fender Added

Speaking of working on the bike, I actually had some down time yesterday to adjust both fenders, add an ornament to the front fender, add the trimmed-down hubcaps to the rear wheel, and remove paint from the rear double springer fork. Hopefully, I'll find the time today to update the thread with...

I'm still leaning towards the bare metal look, but I'll likely use Duplicolor Black Shadow for paint if the bare metal look runs it's course. I'll be glad when this bike is finally completed too! Thanks for the compliment!

I must admit that I was a bit disappointed that I was unable to meet the deadline, because the competitor in me wanted to see how I stack up against some extremely talented builders! However, I have promised myself that I'll find the time to get this bike finished no matter how long it takes...

Well Kingfish, I'm almost certain that Silent Assassin will not meet the deadline. The time needed to work on this build has been very slim to none since I've taken on the new position at my job alongside other obligations. However, you may have given me the shot in the arm needed to make one...

I was faced with several issues regarding the hubcaps, especially for the rear coaster. My goal was to have a center hole big enough to slide over the dust cap thus the lock ring and rear sprocket. However, the design and size of the hubcaps wouldn't allow me to do just that. So, I resorted...

Trust me, I've been checking out plenty of other builds to know that there's some serious talent and skill in this year's build off. In fact, several builds are what inspired me to join in on the fun! Thanks for the compliment by the way! Good question. I'm looking at running smaller crank...

Thank you fellas! Little did I think it would be possible to build a bike mostly from random parts I've had laying around in the shed. For a bike on a budget, the results have actually turned out better than I thought. I've also been keeping a very, very close eye on the builds (Dr. T, I'm...

It's been a while since I posted an update. Not too much has transpired. Here are the street hogs mounted to the Jemimas (weird camera angle but the left tire is actually the bigger of the two): Wheel & tire setup for the front... ...as well as for the rear: The front braces on the...
