I have some ideas that include a chop shop customs layback post. Whitewall boas and a set of 57 mm rims powder coated to mock original wheels. Don't worry I'm hanging on to the original parts.

That is rad!

They are off an Electra rat rod 26". Any Electra dealer will carry them for around $30 US.

They are original to the bike. Just inverted cruiser bars. I had them powder coated black satin.

So far looks good. Just gotta find some pedals now.

Update. Don't paint spoke ends. I learned the hard way. Got a new set of spokes and will be fitting it all together soon.

Latest pics: Started building the wheels today. Blue green rims with blacks hubs and black 12 gauge spokes.
