I use this stuff all the time for degreasing but have found that it will remove some paints as well as the ink off of old bicycle license stickers (which I try to preserve when I can).

And I would have thought that the grease/oil would have made a protective barrier.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. It's cleaning up very nicely except for one patch of rust on the rear wheel. Why are the rear wheels always more rusty than the front?

Yeah. I had it pegged as a murray immediately. The numbers in the dropout seem to be in a different format than the data on the CABE. Best part was I only paid 25$ for it. Should clean up real good.

Picked this up last week but cant quite date it. Its in pretty decent shape. Broke down super easy, battery tray is spotless and it even has the headlight lens and rear jewel reflectors. Any help on the date?
